The bandits chase Kevin from Duncan's to his uncle's house on West 95th street on the Upper West Side. The distance between F.A.O. Schwartz and his uncle's address is about 2.5 miles in real life. One year after Kevin McCallister was left home alone and had to defeat a pair of bumbling burglars, he accidentally finds himself stranded in New York City - and the same criminals are not far behind. The exterior scenes for the McCallister house in the original Home Alone were filmed on location at 671 Lincoln Avenue in the North Shore village of Winnetka, Illinois.
